Hey all! I'm moving to Toronto in September to attend school and am looking for a place to live. I'm looking for under $575, hopefully.
I'm a white gay transguy in my mid twenties, I'm currently finishing up a degree in sociology. I'm currently living in Kitchener, but am in Toronto almost every other weekend, if you want to meet up or have a place to show me. I've been looking for a living space that is trans positive, sex positive and socially concious. A communal living space is preferred, but isn't necessary, as long as it's friendly. I would prefer to live with other queer folk, but straight people are fine too, as long as they are well aquainted with the queer community (ie. I don't want to be the first gay or trans person you've met- been there before, don't want that in my living space again).
I like to cook a lot, and especially like roommates who like cooking too, or at least like eating what I cook for them! I've been involved in a variety of activism including anti-poverty work, Palestinian solidarity, sexual health and anti-oppression education. I like living with other people who are activist/radical, but also don't take themselves too seriously and know how to have fun.
Let me know if you or anyone you know are interested!
